Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support counter-narcotics and anti-piracy missions, particularly in regions like the Caribbean.
  • Operate as the Ship’s Flight Deck Officer to manage helicopter safety operations at sea.
  • Engage in both community policing and serious crime investigations in the UK and abroad.
  • Contribute to the global criminal investigation capability of the Royal Navy Police.
  • Collaborate with national and international police forces to build a safer future.

Requirements

  • Willingness to serve in overseas locations such as Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
  • Ability to undergo specialist law enforcement and investigative training.
  • Flexibility to work in uniformed or plain clothes roles.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Apprenticeship in Policing (provided during service).
  • Opportunities to earn further qualifications (GCSEs, A-Levels, NVQs, or a degree).
