J.P. Morgan Compensation Specialist Job Application

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation Specialist to support the Corporate & Investment Bank divisions—Trading, Sales, and Research—at J.P. Morgan, contributing to the overall EMEA Compensation strategy during a 9-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Support compensation planning, analytics, and reporting for Finance, HR, and senior leadership.
• Partner with HR business advisors and business leaders to provide strategic guidance on compensation decisions.
• Analyze and advise on offers, promotions, internal transfers, and top talent retention strategies.
• Develop tools, models, and reports to assist with comp allocation, forecasting, and budget analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear compensation solutions with measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Self-driven and able to manage multiple fast-paced priorities independently.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Business Objects is a plus.
• Strong analytical background with the ability to interpret and present data-driven insights.
• Previous compensation planning experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong consulting abilities and experience influencing senior managers through data insights.
• Proven track record in compensation or finance roles; retail banking exposure is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation design skills to explain complex compensation metrics.
