Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Supermarket Assistant to join our Waitrose & Partners team in Bromley. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive top-quality service while helping maintain an efficient, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves are fully stocked with products placed accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to assist with general store operations and customer service.
• Pick and prepare online customer orders for home delivery and Click & Collect services.
• Assist at checkout counters and help manage on-demand customer requests when necessary.
• Follow food safety diligence by marking down and managing products approaching sell-by dates.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment through general housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is a plus.
• Awareness of current food and beverage trends is beneficial.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support various in-store functions as needed.
