Job Description

IKEA Greenwich is seeking a creative and practical Graphic Communication Co-worker to help bring the IKEA brand to life in-store. If you have a keen eye for design, a passion for communication, and love working in a collaborative environment, this role could be perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the IKEA identity by applying graphic principles to in-store communication materials.
  • Implement and evaluate communication strategies aligned with IKEA’s branding.
  • Keep up with retail design trends and incorporate them into local store communication.
  • Work hands-on with tools and materials to install visual displays and signage.
  • Act swiftly on commercial opportunities that impact financial performance positively.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate visually and verbally to convey ideas clearly and creatively.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe design software and other graphic production tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using hand tools to implement communication solutions.
  • Excitement for home furnishings and inspiring customer experiences.
  • Experience in organizing and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications

  • Formal education in graphic communication design, typography, or a related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing your design thinking and execution.
  • Previous experience in a retail or design-related environment is a plus.
