Job Description

We are looking for a Casual Centre Assistant to join our idyllic Nature Discovery Centre at Ingrebourne in Hornchurch, helping to deliver a fantastic visitor experience and support the day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the centre is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming to all visitors.
• Engage with members of the public in a friendly and informative way.
• Support the delivery of educational and family-focused nature activities and events.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in wildlife, conservation, or environmental education.

Qualifications

• No specific degree required but prior experience in a visitor-facing or educational role is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
