We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operational Excellence to join the Valuation Office Agency. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that our operational structure is aligned with our performance goals, supports scalable change, and delivers high-quality services to our customers across England and Wales (excluding London and Scotland offices).

Responsibilities

• Lead operational transformation to modernize services in line with strategic goals.
• Manage onboarding and continuous upskilling of teams to enhance capability and support.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through new products, strategies, and innovation.
• Plan and manage business performance, including finance, governance, and reporting.
• Ensure Operations is structured to meet performance and quality service standards effectively.

Requirements

• Proven track record in leading large operational teams across multiple locations.
• Experience in integrating change while maintaining high performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to plan strategically and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in an operational or strategic delivery environment.
• Demonstrable success in performance improvement and transformation programs.
