Job Description

Responsibilities
- Patrol stations and trains to tackle fare evasion, crime, and disruptive behavior.
- Safeguard vulnerable passengers by collaborating with station teams and British Transport Police.
- Physically intervene when necessary, following full conflict de-escalation training.
- Support investigations by collecting evidence and reporting minor incidents.
Requirements
- Must reside within 45 minutes of the assigned depot (Chatham, Dover, Orpington, Sittingbourne, or Tonbridge).
- Successful completion of Level 2 Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) by the British Transport Police.
- Must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict and remain composed under pressure.
- Experience dealing with the public in challenging or customer service scenarios.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working with limited supervision.

Work Schedule
- Shift patterns include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Shifts may start as early as 6 AM or end as late as 2 AM.
- Typically, one week of early shifts is followed by three weeks of late shifts.
