Job Description

UKmate is a dynamic property rental platform revolutionizing the way overseas students and young professionals rent homes in the UK. Managing over £500 million in real estate assets, UKmate is growing across major cities including London, Sheffield, and Reading.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire tenancy cycle including renewals, arrears handling, and Section 8/21 legal notices.
  • Coordinate and schedule essential maintenance and compliance services like EPC, EICR, and Gas Safety.
  • Handle landlord and client communications professionally in both Mandarin and English.
  • Manage check-in/out processes, referencing, deposit deductions, and void minimization.
  • Support the senior team in onboarding new Mandarin-speaking landlords and expanding property portfolios.
  • Represent the company at networking events and virtual webinars to build brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Excellent bilingual communication skills (Mandarin and English).
  • Strong attention to detail with digital record-keeping of property compliance and safety inspections.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in lettings, property management, or UK real estate.
  • Organized, proactive, and confident in multitasking across stakeholders and teams.
  • Familiarity with letting systems like Arthur, Alto, or Reapit is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Valid UK driving licence (preferred).
