Responsibilities

• Safely operate buses on designated routes across London.
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
• Adhere to Transport for London (TfL) operational standards and schedules.
• Complete required safety checks before and after shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 with a valid UK driving licence (held for at least 6 months).
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test as part of the assessment process.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required – full training provided.
• Reliable, calm under pressure, and a strong desire to learn.
• Friendly personality with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Training & Pay

• £13.85 per hour while training.
• £15.40 per hour once fully qualified.
• Overtime rate of 1.25x after 9pm, on weekends, and for extra hours.

Shift & Location Info

• Full-time contract – 38 hours/week.
• Rotating shifts: 5 out of 7 days, scheduled 6–8 weeks in advance.
• Morning (from 04:00), afternoon (from 12:00), and evening (from 18:00) shifts.
• Multiple depot locations across London.
